 The SSPCA Visits St. Mirin’s

It’s that time again – employees from the SSPCA will once again be visiting St. Mirin’s to work with pupils in every class.

Pupils at each of our three assemblies will enjoy learning all about the very important work of the SSPCA and will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops which will be delivered throughout the week back in class.

Primary 4: "You and Your Pet"

Primary 5: "Food and Farming"

Primary 5/6: "Wildlife Welfare"

Primary 6/7: "Animal Friendly Citizens"

Primary 7: "Animal Friendly Citizens"

As a Green Flag School, it is important that our young people not only respect the environment but that they demonstrate an increasing awareness of biodiversity and the need to show respect for all living things.

Everyone in St. Mirin’s would like to thank the SSPCA for taking the time out of their busy schedule to work with our young people.
