Glasgow's Star Turn

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE GLASGOW’S STAR TURN?

The Evening Times has launched Glasgow’s Star Turn, in association with Clyde 1 and the Merchant City Festival - a new competition to find the most talented people in Glasgow and the West of Scotland.

Readers can upload video and audio clips showcasing their acts. Be it singing, dancing, playing the bagpipes or performing magic tricks - whatever it is we want to see it!

Our judging panel will then whittle down the number of entrants who will then be voted for by the public to save their favourite act.

Week by week we will drop the number of acts until we reach the Top 10. This lucky final 10 will then be invited to perform at Glasgow’s Star Turn, at the Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow on July 30, where our celebrity judges will decide the final winner. Keep watching our website for an announcement on who our celebrity judges will be!

The winner will receive a cheque for £1000 and will be crowned Glasgow’s Star Turn 2012!
